Grandpa's Snake
This is a story I must relate,
About Grandpa and his "Great Big Snake"!
He heard a cow doing a terrible fussing,
And he got out of his warm bed cussing.
He dressed in a hurry, dashed out in the night
He didn't bother to turn on a light.
As he ran thru the dew, something was flapping,
'round his legs! He knew what was happening!
"SNAKES!!" he yelled and hurried back to the light
of the cabin, to tell grandma of his plight.
He looked toward the floor, filled with the horrors,
Saw he'd put only one leg in his "draw'rs"!
