Impatient Angel
Off on a great new adventure,
unknown to mortals as we,
This newly arrived small Angel
is as busy as he can be.
His halo is slightly crooked,
He's having trouble with those
cumbersome wings,
As he tries to convince celestial beings,
That Rocket Power is the thing!
These new generation Angels know,
Angelic wings are obsolete---
But add a bit of Rocket Power,
that's a combo that cannot be beat!
He patiently explains,
exactly how this could be done,
Blasting through the Heavens would be,
ever so much more fun!
He'll be the muddiest Angel,
if there's a drop of moisture there,
And he'll know not how his heavenly robes,
developed such a very large tear!
His quick, inquisitive soul will find,
pleasure in everything,
And Heaven will be more perfect,
with the joy this small one brings!

the Angels
